1990年之后，随着社会构成体系的变化，传统的公共空间逐步瓦解，新的社会关怀意识还未建成，赎回文化也无从谈起。一个人格健全的景观设计师除了关心自己的作品漂亮与否之外，更加应该关心的是，这个作品能否为人们带来安全感和归属感以及是否能够培养集体人格和审美习惯。
